Commercial Rental Property Remediation

We work with a number of Philadelphia's biggest commercial property management companies to handle the mold remediation needs for their buildings. For this project, the tenant found mold in the basement due to humidity and on the 2nd floor where a leak occurred.

The affected areas were:

What was included in the project?

- Established a walkway from the entrance of the house to the basement to avoid any damage of the floors.

*We've always hated when contractors do the job, but leave a mess in the process, so we make sure the property is as clean as when we arrive*

- Seal off the affected areas and run air scrubbers to clean the air of mold spores

*Negative air pressure scrubbing* *is crucial in making sure mold spores don't linger after the remediation is done*

- Dispose of contaminated insulation + wire brush cleaning of heavily affected areas + HEPA vacuuming + first layer of biocidal mold-killing treatment

- After remediation is done, here's what the area looks like:

*We make it look good as new, then treat with a second layer of encapsulation that prevents mold from coming back*

- Another area of property had water damage:

*Mold spreads through the air, so anywhere there is excess humidity or a leak tends to grow mold*

This building manager had a go-to guy for rebuilding drywall and floors, so the job was done after remediation, but we do offer drywall rebuild if needed.
